What’s the price of freedom?
For “Captain Mac,” retired Marine Corp Captain, Eric McElvenny, it was losing his leg to an IED in Afghanistan.
Today, he is an Iron Man (in more ways than one) completing the grueling swim, bike, run races. He is also a professional speaker, inspiring audiences with his heart-warming story of rebuilding his life after losing his leg.
At our recent Double Your Affluent Clients® Boot camp, almost 100 advisors from across the U.S. and Canada, heard Eric’s story for the third time. He first shared with our group in November of 2014, weeks before competing in the crème de la crème of Iron Man races in Hawaii.
Even more, he is super passionate about helping other soldiers, who have lost something in the war, to successfully transition to civilian life using their love of sports with the organization that helped him, Operation Rebound.
I was sooooo proud of our attendees. Together, along with their generosity, we were able to donate over $52,000 to Operation Rebound, helping to impact the lives of many soldiers.
If you were one of those who gave, I want to publicly thank you again for your generous gift!
If you have served in the branch of our military or battled as a first responder, THANK YOU!
Giving back generously is a core part of our mission at Scott Keffer International. It’s part of our BIG Impact!
What’s your BIG Impact?
Go for it!
