“In New York City not long ago, 11-time International Best Selling Author and Marketing Guru, Seth Godin, told us, “Attention is the new scarcity. Attention from those interested and able to buy is worth more now than ever before.”
In fact, Seth calls it the Attention Economy.
Why is it so difficult? Prospects are deaf. They’re numb. They’re overloaded just like you!
And yet, advisors continue to pummel the affluent with slick, four-color, glossy brochures and marketing pieces.
Guess where they end up? Yep. The trash.
Why? Me-Too Marketing
It’s Me-Too because it’s all about you. Grab your brochure and count how many times you use the words “I, we, me, us,” versus “you, your and yours.”
It’s Me-Too because it looks just like very other advisors’ stuff.
You need to understand… they’ve heard it all before.
Worst thing of all: there’s nothing of interest in it for them.
Nothing of VALUE. Nothing, nothing, nothing! Nothing… with nice stock pictures and pretty colors… and blah-blah-blah language just like every other advisor.
People are starving for value… hungry for something that speaks to their biggest issues, fears, worries and concerns.
It’s time to add value!
Create a Value Add folder. Write down your Right Fit clients three biggest concerns and put it in the folder. Have someone on your team do the research on the issues and begin to gather data and articles.
I’ll show you how to use it to magnetically draw prospects to you.
