What’s THE one SKILL YOU should focus on improving this year?
What’s the ONE skill that will put more clients in your business and more money in your pocket?
Once you get your prospect’s attention, you must keep them moving… taking one step after another step moving closer and closer until they become your client.
Most advisors FAIL to engage more affluent clients because they have not invested the time and money on becoming a master WORDSMITH.
WORDSMITH – wûrd′smĭth″ someone who uses words skillfully.
Not just skillfully, I say you must become a master Wordsmith.
It’s the advisor’s most powerful skill for engaging doubting prospects… and converting them into trusting ELK clients.
Do you see how by mastering wordsmithing, you can catapult your income to the next level?
Make sense?
Does it sound like it makes good sense, and would turbocharge your revenue?
The late, great Gary Halbert said it this way, “And do you know what is the most-often missing ingredient in a sales message? It’s the sales message that doesn’t tell an interesting story. Storytelling . . . good storytelling . . . is a vital component of a marketing campaign.”
Prospects (actually everyone) make decisions in the RIGHT side of the brain – the seat of emotions.
Using words to create emotion – negative and positive – will help more prospects make he decision to work with YOU!
NEGATIVE Emotions – fear, worry, anger, sadness, regret, guilt…
POSITIVE Emotions – hope, pride, happiness, joy, safety…
The best way to use words to incite action in your prospect is with stories, analogies and metaphors.
First, decide whether it’s your ONE skill to improve this year.
Second, find someone who is already a MASTER wordsmith and study them (Zig Ziglar is the master of masters).
Third, find a hands-on training where YOU can become a MASTER WORDSMITH.
(We have ONE spot left for our Stories That MOVE Prospects to ACTION live-in-person, hands-on training August 25-26)
Just like a director takes you on a journey with their “moving pictures,” YOU can take your prospects on a journey from SKEPTICISM to TRUST.
Steven Spielberg says, “The most amazing thing for me is that every single person who sees a movie, not necessarily one of my movies, brings a whole set of unique experiences, but through… good storytelling, you can get everybody to clap at the same time, to hopefully laugh at the same time, and to be afraid at the same time.”
Or, become YOUR client at the same time.
