That’s Chester, our 9-month-old black Lab puppy.
We want a long and enjoyable experience with Chester, like our 14-year-old chocolate Lab, Max.
I did what I always do when I want a result that’s important: I hire the RIGHT coach.
We hired a coach to teach Chester how to obey.
Here’s his “graduation” picture.
As you can see, he’s embarrassed.
I can’t say I don’t blame him.
I’d be embarrassed if they dressed me that way. 🙂
In his TED talk, Dr. Atul Gawande (practicing general and endocrine surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a professor at Harvard Medical School, staff writer for The New Yorker magazine and author of four New York Times best-selling books), said…
“Want to get great at something? Get a coach.”
What do YOU want to get great at?
He also said, “It’s not how good you are now; it’s how good you’re going to be that really matters.”
He said most doctors don’t believe they need a coach.
It’s the same for advisors.
Most advisors don’t believe they need a coach.
Most advisors are too embarrassed (or too proud) to hire (and listen to) a coach.
Maybe they feel “embarrassed” like Chester.
Not sure.
Sharon Duncan, CFP, AIF, MBA, and John Westerman, CFP, of Selah Financial Services in Friendswood, Texas are not embarrassed (or too proud) to hire (and listen to) a coach.
In fact, they are in our Mastery Coaching Program at the $100,000 Level – and proud of it.
And, I’m proud of them and their results.
They have grown their business 500%!
How about you?
Maybe the answer is to hire a coach for the first time…
Maybe the answer is to hire the RIGHT coach (even though you’ve tried coaching before and had a bad experience)…
Maybe the answer is up your level of investment with the RIGHT coach…
